We are NRIs and wanted to arrange our son’s wedding in Mumbai, which meant finding an event organiser we could trust to manage everything locally while we were coordinating from overseas. After some research, we connected with My Events, led by its Principal, Geeta Chandnani. From the very beginning, our experience with Geeta and her team was nothing short of fabulous. The bride and her family are of British and Portuguese origin, so the wedding involved bringing together two different cultures and ensuring that our guests from overseas felt completely comfortable and well looked after. Geeta and her team guided us throughout the entire process with great professionalism, patience and attention to detail. One of the things that particularly impressed us was their excellent network of suppliers. They understood our requirements and budget and helped us select and coordinate virtually every aspect of the wedding — from the hotel and banquet arrangements to catering, mehendi, make-up, cars, bar and wine, licences, music systems, singers and DJs, décor, and much more. Every supplier they recommended delivered to a very high standard, and everything was seamlessly coordinated. They were very responsive with each team member being quite clear on their responsibility. What really stood out was the level of commitment and attention to detail shown by the entire My Events team. On the wedding day, around six or seven members of the team were on the ground, with some arriving as early as 4:00 am to ensure that everything was in place. They kept track of every detail, including schedules and billing, and were constantly proactive in providing us with updates and reminders. We never felt that we had to chase them for anything. Geeta and her team also integrated wonderfully with both families and our guests. Their calm, warm and professional approach gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to actually enjoy the wedding rather than worry about the arrangements. We had a truly memorable and delightful experience, and we are immensely grateful to Geeta and the entire My Events team for helping make our son’s wedding such a special occasion. We are slowly limping back to our routine at home, but every time we think back to the entire event, we keep wanting to thank you all. We are so grateful for all your hard work, guidance and help. You saw that Kunal and I are simple at heart and made great efforts to draw us out to make the events dazzling while at the same time letting us keep the soul of the occasion simple and elegant. You follow up relentlessly and yet look so calm and smiling always. Poorvi, Vabshika, Karan, Avdesh, Urvashi... All of you made it happen together. We can’t thank you enough. So So grateful.
